Undergraduate Entry for Bangladeshi Applicants: A Bangladeshi HSC, Alim or other recognised upper-secondary qualification can generally establish eligibility where it gives access to higher education in Bangladesh. Final eligibility and selection depend on the specific programme and application route.

Research / PhD Programmes: Metropolia is a university of applied sciences and does not award doctoral degrees. Its degree portfolio is at Bachelor’s and UAS Master’s level.

Work Experience: Mandatory for UAS Master’s admission: normally at least two years completed after the eligibility-giving higher-education degree. Additional programme-specific experience criteria may apply.

SAT / ACT / GMAT / GRE: Not universal requirements. Selected Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes use SAT/ACT or GMAT/GRE in the Separate Application for International Degree Programmes; always follow the Studyinfo criteria for the chosen route.

Application Documents: Required attachments are listed in Studyinfo and may include passport, final qualification certificates, transcripts, work-experience certificates for Master’s applicants, English evidence and selection-route-specific test results or assignments.

Application Portal & Fees: Applications are submitted through Studyinfo. Bangladeshi applicants normally pay Finland’s statutory €100 higher-education application fee. Current programme-specific non-EU tuition is generally €11,000–€12,500 per academic year; Metropolia has published revised 2027/28 fees of €11,500–€12,000 for Bachelor’s and €12,500 for Master’s study rights starting after 31 July 2027.
