School-Leaving Requirement (Main)
- A foreign qualification that gives eligibility for higher-education study in the country where it was completed is required
- Submit the final secondary-school certificate or equivalent, transcript of records, passport copy and accepted English-language evidence

General eligibility does not guarantee successful progression. Applicants must meet the Pathway requirements and successfully complete the required studies by Metropolia’s specified deadline.

Standardized Test Requirement
No separate SAT or ACT admission test is published. SAT may instead be used as English-language evidence with at least 500 in Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and 500 in Mathematics.

Scholarships
No scholarship or Early Bird discount is currently published for the EUR 3,500 Tech Pathway fee. Metropolia’s degree-level Finnish-language scholarships apply to tuition-fee-paying Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students, and its Early Bird rules specifically exclude study places based on Pathway studies.

Remarks & Additional Information
- Apply ASAP, but note that Metropolia currently shows Duration and Registration as TBA.
- The Pathway carries 30 ECTS. The previous published study plan included Engineering Mathematics, Academic English, Python Programming, Finnish and Metropolia common studies, with both online and Myyrmäki-campus teaching.
- Metropolia states that successfully completed Pathway studies support progression to the pre-selected technology Bachelor’s programme and are credited toward the degree in most programmes; the current degree-admission procedure section is still marked for later update.
- Bangladeshi applicants should not assume that online participation alone supports a Finnish study residence permit. Metropolia states that online programmes do not by themselves entitle a student to a residence permit; follow the next intake’s pathway-specific onsite and immigration instructions once published.
