School-Leaving Requirement (Main)
- A recognised school-leaving qualification completed after 12 years of education is required; authenticated certificates and result sheets must be submitted
- WIU publishes a minimum of 50% in English, Mathematics and the overall result in both the 10-year and 12-year school certificates

- WIU requires B1-level English and lists IELTS 4.0 band or TOEFL iBT 47 as accepted examples. No separate minimum IELTS score for each band is published.
- The programme is designed to develop students to B2 English while strengthening business communication, academic study skills and Mathematics for later Bachelor’s study.

Scholarships
WIU has advertised the intake-specific “Enrol One, Empower Three” Scholarship for eligible international students: when a student completes the Foundation Year and continues to an English-taught Bachelor’s programme at WIU, the Foundation tuition may cover the first year of Bachelor’s tuition. If the student does not progress to a WIU Bachelor’s programme, the Foundation tuition is non-refundable. Availability and current terms must be reconfirmed for the intended intake.

- Apply ASAP. WIU’s latest published international fee chart lists EUR 5,500 and EUR 3,500 advance-payment options, plus EUR 200 payable during registration; confirm the current invoice before payment.
- The full-time programme runs for one or two semesters and targets B2 English through Business English, Academic Skills, European Civilization and business-focused Mathematics.
- It prepares students for business Bachelor’s study, including Commerce and Marketing or Business Administration and Management; progression remains subject to WIU’s degree-entry conditions.
- Bangladeshi applicants normally submit the study residence-permit application outside Hungary. Admission, visa and residence-permit decisions and timelines remain authority-controlled.
