- An academic transcript showing completed subjects and credits must be submitted

Admission is not automatic. METU assesses the bachelor’s background, transcript, motivation, English ability and performance in the compulsory online interview.

- Intermediate English is required, equivalent to IELTS 6.0 band, TOEFL iBT 79 or an accepted Cambridge FCE/CAE qualification.
- All applicants complete an online interview. The admission decision is based on demonstrated English ability, even where a language certificate is provided; applicants below the standard may need English preparation.

No dedicated scholarship is advertised for the Pre-Master semester. METU scholarships for enrolled degree students do not automatically apply to this preparatory course; any discount for the linked master’s programme must be confirmed separately.

- Apply ASAP. Tuition is EUR 2,990 for one semester, plus EUR 150 application and EUR 100 registration fees.
- This is a preparatory pathway linked to a target METU MA/MSc programme; it cannot be selected independently and does not itself award a master’s degree.
- Entry requires a bachelor’s degree, transcript, IELTS 6.0-equivalent English, a motivation letter and the compulsory online interview.
- After admission, Bangladeshi students apply outside Hungary for a study residence permit. Continuation after the preparatory semester requires admission to a degree programme; all decisions remain authority-controlled.
