    Admission Requirements

    IELTS Academic: 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5 for most undergraduate and computing programmes; 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0 for Business and Social Sciences Master’s programmes and MSc Artificial Intelligence for Business
    TOEFL iBT: 4.0 overall/no band below 4.0, or 4.5 overall/no band below 4.0, according to programme
    PTE Academic: 58 overall/no band below 47, or 66 overall/no band below 58
    Duolingo English Test: 105 overall/no band below 95, or 120 overall/no band below 105

    Graduate Programmes: A relevant Bachelor’s degree equivalent to NFQ Level 8 is normally required, commonly at 2:2 level; course-specific grades, subjects, or experience may apply.

    Undergraduate Entry for Bangladeshi Applicants: NCI assesses HSC, Alim, and Intermediate qualifications individually. A Foundation Programme may be required where direct Year 1 entry is not confirmed; course-specific subject requirements also apply.

    Research / PhD Programmes: Limited routes operate with Maynooth University and normally require a relevant honours degree, suitable proposal, supervision, and institutional approval.

    Work Experience: Programme-dependent; relevant experience or Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning may support selected applications.

    GMAT / GRE: Not a general NCI requirement; submit only where the individual programme specifically requests it.

    Application Documents: Usually include certificates and transcripts, translations where required, English evidence, CV, passport, and programme-specific supporting documents.

    Application Portal & Fees: Apply online or through an NCI-approved representative; no application fee applies. Current tuition starts at €12,000 per undergraduate year, selected undergraduate degrees cost €14,000, listed Master’s programmes cost €17,000, and the Higher Diploma in Computing costs €12,000.

    Application Deadlines

    September Intake: Main undergraduate and postgraduate intake. No single closing date is published; Bangladeshi applicants should apply early, preferably four to six months before classes and while places remain.

    January Intake: Selected Master’s and Higher Diploma programmes only. Course availability varies; visa-required applicants should normally begin during the preceding September or earlier.

    Undergraduate / Foundation Entry: Generally September entry. Bangladeshi applicants should obtain an early eligibility assessment to allow time for any foundation pathway and visa process.

    Research / PhD: No single deadline applies; timing depends on research fit, supervision, School approval, and Maynooth University procedures.
