    Bachelor’s Degree Requirement (Main)

    • A minimum 2.2 honours degree at NFQ Level 8, or an equivalent international qualification, from a cognate or STEM background
    • Applicants from selected non-cognate areas, including bioscience, social sciences, psychology and library science, may also be considered when they can demonstrate numerical and computing proficiency

    Scholarships

    International Master’s offer-holders for September and January are automatically assessed for NCI’s Academic Merit Scholarship based on prior academic performance. The published award is up to €5,000, with no separate scholarship application required. Any award must be confirmed in the offer letter.

    • International tuition is €17,000. Fees are revised annually, and the offer letter and invoice control the final payable amount.
    • The three-semester course covers data modelling, programming, statistics, analytics, open-data workflows, governance, ethics and a final research practicum. Electives depend on availability.
    • NCI follows a Bring Your Own Device policy. Students must have a suitable personal laptop for classes, assignments and project work. Check the latest specifications before purchasing.
