Dublin Business School (DBS) is an independent higher education institution based in the heart of Dublin. Established in 1975, it has developed into a large, internationally diverse college offering career-oriented study across business, computing, law, psychology, social science, media and related professional fields. Its central location places students close to the commercial, cultural and professional life of Ireland’s capital.

DBS combines recognised academic awards with applied learning designed around current workplace needs. Eligibility

Admission Requirements

IELTS Academic: 6.0 overall for many Level 8 programmes; selected Level 9 courses require 6.5

TOEFL iBT: Accepted at the programme’s validated B2+ equivalent

PTE Academic: Accepted at the programme’s validated B2+ equivalent

Graduate Programmes: A relevant Level 8 honours degree, usually at 2:2 or equivalent, is normally required. Some courses specify a cognate degree, higher grade or professional background.

Undergraduate Entry for Bangladeshi Applicants: HSC, Alim or Intermediate results are assessed against the relevant Irish standard. DBS publishes no single Bangladesh GPA, so qualification and subject equivalence must be confirmed individually.

Research / PhD Programmes: The current international portfolio focuses on taught study through NFQ Level 9. Confirm directly before planning doctoral or research-only admission.

Work Experience: Programme-dependent; required or considered for selected MBA, management, professional and prior-learning applications.

GMAT / GRE: Not generally required. MBA applicants without the specified qualifying Level 8 honours degree may need GMAT.

Application Documents: Passport, verified certificates and transcripts, English evidence, CV, personal statement and references where required.

Application Portal & Fees: Bangladeshi applicants apply through DBS International Admissions. Published 2025/26 non-EU fees are €10,350–€10,365 for Level 7–8 degrees, €10,400–€10,500 for higher diplomas, and €14,500–€15,575 for Level 9. The offer letter controls final payment.

Calendar

Application Deadlines

Main September Intake: The principal full-time start period. DBS publishes no single non-EU deadline, and programmes may close when places are filled.

Selected January Intake: Available on selected programmes only. Confirm the live intake and apply early enough for offer acceptance, payment and visa preparation.

Other Start Dates: Available only where formally published. Applicants must confirm full-time, on-campus and ILEP eligibility.

Planning from Bangladesh: Begin four to six months before commencement and complete admission early. A long-stay study visa should be lodged up to three months before travel.
