    IELTS Academic: 6.0 overall
    TOEFL iBT: 79 overall
    Duolingo English Test: 110 overall
    Cambridge English: 169 on the Cambridge English Scale
    Certificate Validity: English test certificates older than 2 years are not accepted

    Postgraduate Programmes: A Bachelor’s degree at EQF Level 6 is normally required. Selected postgraduates add programme-specific academic, portfolio, interview, experience, or other conditions; some low-credit programmes are not open to applicants needing a student visa.

    Undergraduate Entry for Bangladeshi Applicants: Thomas More currently lists Alim at minimum 60%; HSC Humanities/Science at minimum 60%; and Diploma in Engineering at minimum 60%, Grade B, GPA 3.0/5.0 or 2.4/4.0. HSC Business Studies is listed as not meeting the diploma requirement. Accepted Bangladesh qualifications also require an English certificate; final eligibility is university-assessed.

    Short / Abridged Bachelor Programmes: Usually require an existing Bachelor’s degree or higher, plus any programme-specific conditions.

    Work Experience: Not a general Bachelor’s requirement; requested only for selected professionally focused or postgraduate programmes.

    Application Documents: Passport, diploma and academic records, accepted English evidence, plus any programme-specific documents. Applicants awaiting graduation may use the last two years of transcripts and a school confirmation, then submit the final diploma when issued.

    Application Portal & Fees: Apply online through Thomas More. There is no standard application fee; a €120 handling fee may apply where extra administrative processing is required and is credited toward registration if enrolled. Published 2026/27 Bachelor’s tuition for visa-required non-EEA students is €9,300 for a standard 60-credit Fall start; Spring 2027 tuition is €14,100 under the two-academic-year billing structure. The Fall blocked account is separate at €12,994.

    Application Deadlines

    Bachelor’s – September 2026: Applications opened 19 January and closed 25 May 2026 for visa-required non-EEA candidates; tuition and blocked-account payment was due 8 June. This intake is closed for new Bangladesh-based applicants.

    Bachelor’s – February 2027: Applications open 21 September and close 9 November 2026; tuition and blocked-account payment is due 23 November. February entry is available only for selected programmes.

    Intake Availability: All full Bachelor’s programmes start in September; selected English-taught Bachelor’s programmes also start in February. Confirm the individual programme page before applying.

    Postgraduate Entry: Deadlines are programme-specific and may be earlier where additional selection is required.
