School-Leaving Requirement (Main)
- A completed secondary-school qualification comparable to the Irish Leaving Certificate, with at least five subject passes at O6/H7 level or an accepted international equivalent
- Galway Business School does not publish a fixed HSC, Alim or Intermediate percentage for Bangladesh; qualification level, subjects, grades and awarding board are assessed case by case

Direct entry depends on Galway Business School confirming that the Bangladesh school-leaving qualification is comparable to the published Level 7 entry standard.

- The programme requires IELTS 6.0 or an accepted CEFR B2+ equivalent. GBS accepts tests including TOEFL, PTE, Cambridge and Duolingo; PTE 59 is the only additional numerical benchmark currently published.
- All first-time international entrants whose first language is not English must also complete the mandatory three-week online Pre-Sessional Academic Business English course before the degree begins.

Scholarships
No general scholarship or bursary is currently published for new non-EU applicants to this programme. Students should budget for the full annual fee and separate pre-sessional English, accommodation, insurance and visa-related costs.

Remarks & Additional Information
- GBS’s standard deadline for visa-required September applicants is 1 July.
- The international fee is €9,000 per year, comprising €8,750 tuition and a €250 academic fee. The mandatory three-week online pre-sessional English course costs an additional €375.
- The three-year, 180-ECTS programme combines business, management, accounting, marketing, information systems and analytics. Graduates may progress to GBS’s one-year Level 8 honours top-up; ACCA exemptions remain subject to current professional-body rules.
- Prepare passport, HSC/Alim/Intermediate certificates and transcripts, English evidence, a personal statement and two recommendations. Admission and Irish study visa decisions remain authority-controlled.
