School-Leaving Requirement (Main)
- A recognised school-leaving qualification completed after 12 years of education is required; authenticated certificates and result sheets must be submitted
- WIU publishes a minimum of 50% in English, Mathematics and the overall result in both the 10-year and 12-year school certificates

Notes
- WIU requires minimum B2-level English and lists IELTS 5.5 band or TOEFL iBT 72 as accepted examples. No separate minimum IELTS score for each band is published.
- Applicants should submit an internationally recognised English-language certificate with the admission documents; English ability may also be assessed during the entrance process.

Funding
Scholarships
WIU’s February 2026 Merit-Based Scholarship lists a 10% first-year tuition reduction for eligible applicants scoring at least 75% in relevant subjects and 15% for those scoring at least 85%. Continuing students may also apply for the EUR 500 “Learn to Succeed” grant after the first year, subject to academic, attendance and payment conditions. Availability must be reconfirmed for the intended intake.

Remarks & Additional Information
- Apply ASAP. WIU’s latest published international fee chart is for February and lists EUR 6,200 and EUR 3,700 advance-payment options, plus a EUR 200 registration fee; confirm the current invoice before payment.
- The current official programme page lists Business Analytics as the specialisation. It does not currently list a separate “Big Data” specialisation, so the website title should follow the official wording.
- The 210-credit programme runs for seven semesters and includes an external internship of at least eight weeks and 320 certified working hours.
- Bangladeshi applicants normally submit the study residence-permit case outside Hungary through the competent Hungarian mission. Admission, visa and residence-permit decisions and timelines remain authority-controlled.
