    Honours Degree Requirement (Main)

    • A recognised honours bachelor’s degree assessed as equivalent to an Irish 2.1 award in a business discipline
    • A 2.1-equivalent degree in a relevant non-business discipline, such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science, may also meet the academic requirement

    • These are DCU’s current postgraduate English standards for DCU Business School. Test scores must be achieved in one sitting and issued within two years before the programme start date.
    • TOEFL note: The 92 score uses the 0–120 scale and requires at least 21 in each band. Under the revised scale, DCU lists 4.5 overall, with 5.0 in Writing and Speaking and 4.5 in the other bands; TOEFL Home Edition is not accepted.

    Scholarships

    Eligible full-time non-EU applicants are automatically considered for the DCU Business School International Scholarship. Selected recipients receive a €2,000 reduction from the non-EU tuition fee; only successful applicants are notified.

    • The current non-EU tuition fee is €23,000. A €50 application fee applies, and successful applicants normally pay a €500 deposit when accepting an offer.
    • Study areas include corporate finance, financial markets, econometrics, asset pricing, portfolio theory and risk management, followed by a dissertation; the curriculum is aligned with CFA and GARP FRM standards.
