Bachelor’s Requirement (Main)
- A primary honours degree at NFQ Level 8, or an accepted international equivalent, with at least H2.2 standing (minimum 60%)
- The degree should be in Electronic, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Applied Physics, Computer Science, or another suitable engineering discipline

Bangladeshi applicants should demonstrate direct academic eligibility for the full-time January intake and provide complete yearly transcripts with certified English translations where required.

- TOEFL note: Under the revised 1–6 scoring system, DCU requires 4.5 overall with no section below 4.5 for Engineering and Computing postgraduate entry.

Scholarships
Non-EU applicants holding an offer for an eligible full-time Faculty of Engineering and Computing programme may be considered for the 2026–2027 International Scholarship. Successful recipients receive a €5,000 reduction from the published non-EU tuition fee.

- January applications are open and considered on a rolling basis until full. The published non-EU closing date is 4 December 2026; early application is advised.
- The January full-time route runs for 18 months and combines eight taught modules with a substantial capstone project. Assessment is approximately 50% examinations and 50% continuous assessment.
- Upload yearly transcripts, English evidence where required, a statement of purpose, references, CV and passport details through the DCU application portal.
- The 2026–2027 non-EU fee is €25,000 per annum and may increase annually. As the January route spans more than one academic year, confirm the total payable amount from DCU before payment.
