    Bachelor’s Degree Requirement (Main)

    • A recognised Bachelor’s degree from an internationally recognised university is required
    • Degree relevance and previous coursework are assessed by the department and the Faculty Credit Transfer Committee

    • The University also accepts Duolingo 115 and other recognised B2 certificates. Test results submitted for this programme must be taken within one year.
    • For MA programmes of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, an English-medium Bachelor’s certificate is generally not accepted as a substitute for formal English evidence.

    No programme-specific scholarship is advertised. Bangladeshi applicants may consider Stipendium Hungaricum when this course appears in the live Bangladesh programme list. The separate, competitive scholarship may cover tuition, a monthly stipend, accommodation support and medical insurance; nomination and scholarship admission are not guaranteed.

    • Apply ASAP. The next Spring intake starts 1 February 2027 and closes 30 September 2026. Non-EU tuition is EUR 2,500/semester; the application fee is EUR 140 and no registration fee is listed.
    • Students choose Employment Policy or Territorial/Rural Development Policy. The four-semester curriculum covers comparative social policy, income transfers, programme evaluation, law, human services, local development and a Social Policy Practicum.
    • Bangladesh: use bank transfer for all University fees, as SimplePay card payments are not accepted. Pay the portal/invoice amount before the Letter of Admission; explain any study gap clearly. Residence-permit decisions remain authority-controlled.
