- Intermediate English is required. METU does not publish separate minimum band scores for this programme.
- A formal English certificate is not compulsory, but every applicant must demonstrate sufficient English during the online admission interview. Interview performance may override a submitted certificate.
- Formal test evidence may be waived; the compulsory English assessment in the online interview cannot be waived. Eligible applicants below direct-entry level may be offered one or two preparatory semesters.

Scholarships
The METU Excellence Award may provide selected new students with a 15% tuition discount for the first year. Selection is based on academic results, English ability and Zoom-interview performance. Other discounts follow the live campaign conditions; applicants using an educational agent are not eligible for the refer-a-friend discount.

Remarks & Additional Information
- Apply ASAP so admission, fee payment and Irish study visa preparation can be completed in time.
- Tuition is EUR 3,500/semester, two semesters’ tuition is required, and the Bangladesh registration fee is EUR 200.
- The 240-ECTS programme advertises Health Tourism and International Hotel Management specialisations, subject to at least 15 students. The published curriculum includes 50 ECTS of internship and a 10-ECTS degree thesis.
- After successful assessment, applicants must settle the mandatory invoices and complete METU’s required MoveMe onboarding before applying for the Hungarian D visa and study residence permit. Immigration decisions remain authority-controlled.
