Academic Requirements
General Eligibility (Main)
- A foreign upper-secondary qualification giving higher-education eligibility in the awarding country can meet general UAS eligibility; completed Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral degrees can also qualify.
- Bangladeshi HSC/Alim applicants should submit the final certificate and academic record, with an authorised Finnish, Swedish or English translation where needed. Turku UAS makes the final eligibility assessment.

Standardized Test Requirement
For Bangladeshi applicants, SAT or OMPT is the practical published rolling-selection route unless Turku UAS confirms another method. Required scores for this intake must reach Turku UAS by 17 September 2026.

- Turku UAS publishes IELTS Academic 6.0 band, PTE Academic 55 and the applicable TOEFL iBT minimum shown above. No separate IELTS minimum per band is published.
- Other accepted options include Cambridge English Scale 169, TELC B2-C1 University at minimum B2, Oxford ELLT Global 6.0 and YKI English Grade 4 in each band.

Scholarships
Eligible students can receive a EUR 1,000 first-year early bird discount by accepting the offer within 14 days and paying first-year tuition within 30 days. Tuition-paying students may later qualify for a YKI-based Finnish-language scholarship, currently up to EUR 4,000. Reconfirm terms for the intended intake.

- Apply ASAP. January rolling admission opens in June and closes when places are filled or by 15 September.
- The 4-year, 240-ECTS English route focuses on Sustainable Design Engineering and includes a 30-ECTS internship and 15-ECTS thesis.
- Bangladesh is not on the current rolling certificate-selection list, so Bangladeshi applicants should normally prepare SAT or OMPT unless Turku UAS confirms another method.
- After admission, apply through Enter Finland and complete identification at VFS Global New Delhi. Migri currently requires EUR 9,600 for 12 months’ living costs, plus unpaid tuition and valid insurance. Decisions and timelines remain authority-controlled.
