Academic Eligibility (Main)
- General UAS eligibility: an overseas qualification that grants higher-education eligibility in its awarding country; an overseas Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral degree also qualifies.
- This January 2027 route additionally requires the qualifying degree to have been completed in one of Turku UAS’s listed countries.

Notes
- Accepted minimums include IELTS Academic 6.0 band, PTE Academic 55 and TOEFL iBT 60 before 21 January 2026 or 3.5 on/after that date. No IELTS minimum per band is published.
- Other options include Cambridge English Scale 169, TELC B2, Oxford ELLT Global 6.0 and YKI English Grade 4. Education-based English exemptions apply only to specified countries, which do not include Bangladesh.

Funding
Scholarships
Eligible fee-paying students can receive a EUR 1,000 first-year early-bird reduction by accepting the offer within 14 days and paying tuition within 30 days. Continuing students may also qualify for a YKI Finnish-language scholarship/refund; the published amount is EUR 4,000 where EUR 11,000–12,000 tuition was paid for the previous academic year, subject to current conditions.
