    About IBA International Business Academy

    IBA International Business Academy is a public higher-education institution in Kolding, southern Denmark, built around practical learning, international outlook, and close engagement with business. Established from an academy initiative in 1983, IBA has developed into one of Denmark’s most internationally oriented business academies, offering higher education alongside continuing and professional learning.

    Teaching is strongly practice-based, combining academic theory with real company cases, projects, innovation activities, and internships where relevant. IBA works with more than 85 partner institutions worldwide, participates in international mobility and case competitions, and delivers selected English-taught degrees in cooperation with Coventry University and Leeds Beckett University. Its modern Campus Kolding setting places students close to the city centre, transport links, and an active regional business community.

    Eligibility

    Admission Requirements

    IELTS Academic: Undergraduate 6.0 overall, minimum 5.5 per band; listed Master’s 6.5 overall, minimum 5.5 per band
    TOEFL iBT: Undergraduate 65 overall, minimum 15 per band; listed Master’s 83 overall, minimum 17 per band
    PTE Academic: Undergraduate 52 overall, minimum 45 per band; listed Master’s 58 overall, minimum 45 per band
    Cambridge English: Minimum 169 undergraduate; 176 for listed Master’s courses

    Graduate Programmes: Bangladeshi applicants normally need a three-year Bachelor’s with at least Second Class / CGPA 2.25 out of 4.0 for Coventry-linked postgraduate entry. Relevant subject and course-specific requirements apply.

    Undergraduate Entry for Bangladeshi Applicants: IBA’s general Coventry-linked guideline lists HSC with minimum GPA 3.5, or about 65% equivalent. Some programmes set higher or additional requirements, including SAT on selected routes.

    Research / PhD Programmes: IBA does not currently publish doctoral degree programmes; its research activity is applied and linked with companies and partner institutions.

    Work Experience: Programme-dependent. The MBA in General Management requires at least two years of relevant full-time managerial experience.

    GMAT / GRE: Not a general IBA requirement; submit only if a specific programme requests it.

    Application Documents & Interview: Passport, academic certificates/transcripts, English evidence and programme-specific documents are commonly required. Many on-campus international courses also use an online admission interview.

    Application Portal & Fees: Apply through IBA’s online system. A DKK 750 application fee plus service charge applies to listed Coventry/Leeds programmes. Current tuition examples: DKK 75,000 BA top-up; DKK 225,000 total three-year BSc; DKK 120,000 total MSc International Business.

    Application Deadlines

    Full-time Bachelor’s – September: 2026 non-EU deadlines are course-specific; examples are 1 March (BSc International Business Management), 1 May (BA top-up) and 1 June (Business Management across Europe).

    Full-time Master’s – September: Selected 2026 on-campus Master’s programmes, including MSc International Business, list 1 March as the non-EU deadline. Confirm the individual programme page.

    Other / Online Intakes: Online, exchange and specialist programmes follow separate calendars; there is no single IBA-wide deadline.

    Amount: Mobility grant may be available; IBA indicates around €700 per month depending on host country

    IBA’s current on-campus international degree pages generally do not offer entry scholarships. Bangladeshi applicants should therefore plan finances without relying on scholarship funding; selected alumni discounts and Erasmus+ mobility support are separate opportunities.
