    Sweden Business Visa from Bangladesh

Schengen short-stay visa for short-term business travel to Sweden.

    Last Updated: 30 August 2026

The Sweden Business Visa is a Schengen short-stay visa for Bangladeshi applicants travelling to Sweden for business meetings, conferences, trade fairs, company visits, or other short-term professional purposes. It generally allows a stay of up to 90 days within any 180-day period.

You should use this route only if Sweden is your main destination or the country where your main business activity or longest stay will take place. If another Schengen country is your main destination, the application should normally be submitted through that country instead. This visa is intended for short business travel and not generally for local employment or paid work in Sweden.

    Process Roadmap

    Step 1

    Confirm Business Purpose

    Step 2

    Complete the Application Form

Fill out the Schengen visa application form accurately. Details should match the passport, invitation, travel plan, financial proof, and business documents.

    Step 3

    Prepare Business & Supporting Documents

Arrange the general Schengen documents with business proof, such as the invitation, employer or owner letter, company papers, itinerary, and funds. Translate documents where required.

    Step 4

Book Appointment at Visa Application Centre

Book an appointment at the Sweden Visa Application Centre in Dhaka. Keep the confirmation and organize the file in A4 format. Applications may usually be lodged up to 6 months before travel.

    Step 5

    Submit Application & Provide Biometrics

Attend the appointment in person, submit the file and passport, provide biometrics, and pay the applicable visa, VFS, and selected service charges.

    Step 6

    Track Application Status

Track the application through VFS using the reference number. The Embassy may request additional information or an interview if needed.

    Step 7

    Collect Passport & Verify Visa

Collect the passport from VFS or receive it by courier if selected. If approved, check the name, passport number, validity, entries, and allowed stay before travel.
