South Africa Intra Company Transfer Work Visa from Bangladesh

Long Term Work Visa for existing employees transferred within the same international company group to a South African branch, subsidiary, or affiliate.

    Last Updated: 30 August 2026

The South Africa Intra Company Transfer Work Visa is a Long Term Visa for Bangladeshi nationals and eligible residents who are already employed by a company abroad and are being temporarily transferred to its branch, subsidiary, or affiliate in South Africa. The employee must have worked for the foreign business for at least six months before becoming eligible for the transfer.

This category does not use the General/Critical Skills points test. The transfer must remain within the related company structure, the South African role must be clearly defined, and a skills-transfer plan is required. The visa is issued for a maximum of four years and is not renewable or extendable. Applications from Bangladesh are submitted through VFS Global New Delhi.
