Process Roadmap
Step 1
Verify Slovenia as the Main Destination
Review the complete Schengen route, compare the planned overnight stays, and identify where the main tourism purpose will take place. The itinerary and reservations should clearly support Slovenia as the Member State responsible for the application.
Step 2
Shape a Coherent Itinerary and Budget
Prepare a practical day-by-day plan covering arrival, accommodation, places to visit, movement within Slovenia, any onward Schengen travel, and departure. Keep the activities and proposed cost proportionate to the length of the trip.
Step 3
Align the Form and Travel Explanation
Present one consistent travel narrative across the application form and cover letter. Passport details, dates, occupation, funding source, accommodation, and itinerary should all describe the same planned journey.
Step 4
Organize Financial and Return Evidence
Compile recent bank statements, income and tax records, employment or business evidence, approved leave, civil status documents, and Schengen travel insurance. Explain sponsorship or unusual account activity where relevant.
Step 5
Book the Slovenia Submission Appointment
Book an appointment through the Sweden Visa Application Centre in Dhaka, which receives Slovenia short-stay applications under the representation arrangement. Keep the confirmation and arrange the documents in the required order and A4 format.
Step 6
Submit the File and Complete Biometrics
Attend the centre with the passport and complete supporting file. Submit the application, pay the applicable visa and VFS charges, and provide fingerprints and a photograph unless an official biometric exemption applies.
Step 7
Track, Collect, and Check the Visa
Track the application using the VFS reference details. After the passport is returned, collect it or receive it through the selected courier service. If a visa is issued, verify the personal details, validity, entries, and permitted stay before travel.
