    Luxembourg Business Visa from Bangladesh

Schengen short-stay visa for temporary business travel to Luxembourg.

    Last Updated: 30 August 2026

The Luxembourg Business Visa is a Schengen short-stay route for Bangladeshi professionals travelling to Luxembourg for scheduled meetings, negotiations, conferences, trade fairs, company visits, or other time-limited business engagements. It generally permits stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period.

Apply under Luxembourg only when it is the principal business destination, the location of the core professional activity, or the country where you will spend the longest part of the Schengen trip. Sweden handles Luxembourg short-stay applications in Bangladesh, with files lodged through the Sweden Visa Application Centre in Dhaka. This visa does not itself authorize employment, paid local work, or access to Luxembourg's labour market.

    Process Roadmap

    Step 1

Verify Luxembourg as the Main Destination

Review the full Schengen itinerary and professional programme. Luxembourg should host the central meeting, event, or business activity, or be the country of the longest stay. A Type C Schengen visa is generally used for eligible visits of up to 90 days.

    Step 2

    Complete the Application Form

Complete the application form so it matches the passport, invitation, employer or company letter, travel dates, accommodation, funding plan, and stated professional purpose. Avoid unexplained differences across the supporting file.

    Step 3

    Arrange Invitation and Business Evidence

Collect the invitation from Luxembourg, meeting schedule, conference or event confirmation, company correspondence, registration proof, and documents showing the business relationship or professional purpose of the visit.

    Step 4

    Prepare Applicant and Company Documents

Organize the passport, photos, cover letter, forwarding letter, occupation proof, financial records, tax papers, company documents, flight reservation, accommodation evidence, and travel insurance. Translate documents where required.

    Step 5

Book Appointment at Visa Application Centre

Book a submission appointment at the Sweden Visa Application Centre in Dhaka, which receives Luxembourg short-stay applications under the representation arrangement. Keep the confirmation and organize the documents in A4 format.

    Step 6

Lodge the File and Complete Biometrics

Attend the appointment in person with the passport and complete application. Submit the supporting documents, provide fingerprints and a photograph where required, and pay the applicable visa, VFS, and selected service charges.

    Step 7

Follow the Decision and Inspect the Visa

Track the application through VFS and provide further information if requested by the Embassy. After the passport is returned, verify the name, passport number, validity, entries, and permitted duration of stay before travelling.
